About the position

The Quality Governance Analyst at fairlife, LLC plays a crucial role in the development, support, and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS). This position is integral to ensuring that fairlife's Quality and Food Safety Management systems comply with regulatory standards, Coca-Cola KORE requirements, and third-party certifications. The analyst will coordinate site quality programs, ensuring that best practices are standardized across all manufacturing sites in alignment with fairlife's QMS requirements. This includes oversight of Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) programs across all facilities, ensuring their completion and effectiveness. In addition to these responsibilities, the Quality Governance Analyst will serve as an administrator for the Quality Management Software, ETQ, which involves standardizing documents and quality requirements across various manufacturing locations. Training employees in the use of the QMS software and practices is also a key responsibility. The analyst will collaborate with Research and Development (R&D) to ensure that product specifications are current and fulfill documentation requests from customers to maintain compliance. Conducting internal audits for quality and food safety requirements at manufacturing sites is another critical aspect of this role. The analyst will perform risk assessments related to the QMS and Food Safety Management System (FSMS) and support adherence to Coca-Cola KORE requirements, taking necessary steps to achieve compliance. Additionally, the analyst will lead projects aimed at continuously improving fairlife's Quality and Food Safety Management Systems, working closely with site Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to enable integrated management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate site quality programs and ensure standardization of best practices across manufacturing sites to fairlife's QMS requirements.
  • Oversee all fairlife facilities CAPA programs and ensure their completion and effectiveness.
  • Administer Quality Management Software, ETQ, including the standardization of documents and quality requirements across manufacturing locations.
  • Train appropriate employees in the use of fairlife QMS software and practices.
  • Work with R&D to ensure fairlife product specifications are up to date.
  • Fulfill documentation requests from customers for continued compliance.
  • Conduct internal audits for quality and food safety requirements at manufacturing sites.
  • Conduct risk assessments in relation to QMS and FSMS.
  • Support adherence to Coca-Cola KORE requirements and take necessary steps to achieve adherence.
  • Lead projects to continuously improve fairlife's Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Work closely with site Environmental, Health, and Safety teams to enable integrated management systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in biology, microbiology, chemistry, food science, or closely related field of study.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and quality assurance environment.
  • Experience in working with Quality Management System software, such as ETQ and LIMS software platforms.
  • ISO 9001 and FSSC 22000 Internal Auditor Training is preferred.
  • Preventive Controls Quality Individual Training is preferred.
  • Knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 is a plus.
  • Ability to interact effectively across enterprise manufacturing quality teams in championing new programs.
  • Ability to influence management and enable the activities of employee teams.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong computer and document management skills.
