The Quality Improvement Analyst QR position at Nicklaus Children's Hospital is a full-time role focused on data management, statistical analysis, and maintaining outcome measurements. The analyst will assist leaders in developing and monitoring strategic goals related to the organizational Quality Pillar, quality scorecards, and external presentations. A key responsibility includes working with leadership to identify and develop corrective action or performance improvement plans based on the monitoring of quality data, national collaborative reports, and other quality validation processes. The role also involves utilizing statistical expertise to research and identify benchmarks for key quality indicators, developing reports, and conducting statistical analyses using a variety of internal and external data sources. The analyst will maintain a current database management system across multiple repositories, ensuring archival, security, and retrieval of data. Additionally, the use of performance improvement tools such as Lean Methodology, Process/Flow Charts, and Pareto Charts will be essential for communicating data values and trends to various teams and task forces. The Quality Improvement Analyst will prioritize the accuracy of information in reports and presentations, provide supporting documentation for created reports and databases, and present data analysis and performance improvement recommendations to project teams and leadership. This role is critical in supporting the hospital's commitment to quality and performance improvement, requiring a blend of analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects efficiently.
