About the position
The Quality Improvement Program Advisor II role at Central California Alliance for Health focuses on enhancing healthcare quality and equity for underserved populations. This position involves collaborating with healthcare providers to implement quality improvement initiatives, analyze performance data, and support the organization's mission of closing health disparities across multiple counties. The role requires regular travel to provider offices and is part of a new Practice Coaching Program aimed at improving care delivery.
Responsibilities
- Support Quality Improvement (QI) and Population Health Department leadership with program administration.
- Conduct quality improvement studies and analyze data to evaluate the Alliance's performance.
- Analyze, develop, and implement quality improvement activities to increase performance against benchmarks.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Health Care, Data Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of four years of experience in quality/process improvement or project management activities, including two years in a healthcare environment.
- Knowledge of QI principles in a healthcare setting, research methodology, statistical analysis, and report design.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience working in a healthcare provider setting or with managed care plans.
- Familiarity with Performance Improvement, Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies.
- Engaging approach with strong collaborative skills.
