About the position

The Quality Inspector will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of manufactured parts and assemblies through final and in-process inspections. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about quality assurance and capable of maintaining accurate records while assisting in the analysis and resolution of non-conforming products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct final inspections and complete all associated data entry.
• Assist with in-process inspections for all manufactured parts and assemblies, including prototype inspections and FAIR reporting as assigned by the Quality Manager.
• Follow work instructions and Quality Manager's guidelines for in-process inspections.
• Verify shop order packets, including prints and Bill of Materials, as needed during inspections.
• Enter data from daily inspections as required.
• Maintain accurate and legible records, filing them in an organized manner.
• Assist in analyzing and resolving non-conforming products with production.
• Participate in internal audits at the assigned facility as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years of related experience in quality inspection or a similar role.
• Knowledge of inspection, measuring, and testing equipment.
• Experience with mechanical and electrical measuring equipment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
