About the position

The Quality Technician/Inspector will be responsible for inspecting metal parts using various precision instruments in a high mix manufacturing environment. This role offers opportunities for learning and growth while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Inspect metal parts using precision instruments.
• Work on a variety of projects in a high mix environment.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR regulations.
• Document inspection results and maintain quality records.

Requirements

• 1+ year of experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to read blueprints or strong math skills (fractions, decimals, tight tolerances).
• Experience with micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools.
• Ability to work in an ITAR environment.
• Proactive and motivated with high attention to detail.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with auditing.
• Experience with calibrations.
• Experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine).
• Experience with tight tolerances and PPAPs/documentation.
• Experience with FAIs (First Article Inspections).
