About the position
The Quality Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring that projects meet safety, quality, and environmental protection standards. This position is responsible for leading continuous improvement initiatives, providing technical guidance, and implementing quality assurance processes to achieve first-time excellence in project execution.
Responsibilities
- Identify best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks and raise safety awareness.
- Provide technical advice, coaching, guidance, and mentoring to employees on safe work practices and necessary changes.
- Conduct or coordinate worker training in areas such as new hire orientation, safety regulations, and hazardous condition identification.
- Perform safety and quality audits to inspect facilities, machinery, work areas, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
- Work with Project Teams in the planning stage to develop project-specific tooling, logistics, emergency action, and safety plans.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for issues that arise during projects.
- Implement the Project Quality Plan, HSE Manual, Training Manual, Process Manual, Standard Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Plans to projects.
- Responsible for implementing inspection procedures and record keeping for work processes.
Requirements
- Must be available to travel 75%+.
