About The Position

The Quality Inspector I works independently as part of the Quality team inspecting parts. It is the responsibility of the Quality Inspector to communicate inspection results to management as well as Research and Development and Materials Management.

Requirements

• Previous hand-held inspection instruments (micrometer, calipers, etc.) preferred
• Experience with computerized record-keeping (e.g., documents, drawings) preferred
• Computer literacy with standard software applications
• Demonstrates excellent reading, writing and verbal communication skills
• Requires vaccination against Hepatitis B or signed declination form

Nice To Haves

• 1+ years of Quality Inspection experience desired

Responsibilities

• Inspect device components and finished devices following inspection instructions and established procedures
• Communicate inspection results to Quality supervision or management as well as R&D / Engineering and Materials Management
• File quality documents and records and maintain quality files
• Perform special assignments as directed by supervision commensurate with experience
• Complete other duties as assigned
