About the position
The position involves inspecting fabrications to ensure they meet customer specifications and adhere to AWS D1.1 standards. The role requires a keen attention to detail to maintain high-quality standards for all parts produced in the fabrication shop.
Responsibilities
- Inspect fabrications to customer specifications.
- Inspect all welds to AWS D1.1 standards.
- Utilize machining inspection tools such as gauges, calipers, micrometers, and weigh scales.
- Ensure the highest level of quality for all parts through meticulous attention to detail.
Requirements
- Positive attitude with good communication skills.
- Proficiency in blueprint reading.
- Excellent math skills.
- At least 2 years' experience working in a fabrication shop, preferably in a job-shop environment.
Benefits
- Full-time position with a pay range of $20.00 - $30.00 per hour.
- Expected hours of 40 per week.
- Day shift schedule from Monday to Friday.
