About the position

Clear Align is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join their team in Nashua, NH. This role is pivotal in ensuring that products meet and exceed military standards, requiring a strong attention to detail and a positive team spirit. The Quality Inspector will engage in various quality inspection tasks, including formal test witnessing and First Article Inspection, while supporting the overall quality organization.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect optics to ensure adherence to standards and quality regulations.
• Inspect, clean, and test optical components using precision tools and inspection techniques.
• Inspect supplier materials and disposition incoming inspection material.
• Perform First Article Inspection on incoming optical components.
• Utilize blueprints, metrology equipment, and standard operating procedures in the inspection process.
• Define, document, and communicate process improvement recommendations to increase inspection effectiveness.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of related Quality Inspection experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• ASQ Certified Quality Inspector preferred.
• Experience with Interferometers and/or Profilometers is a plus.
• Experience inspecting optical components and thin film optical coatings.
• Great attention to detail necessary for success in this role.
• Ability to present technical data and audit/inspection results to all levels of management.
• Ability to write technical reports detailing audit/inspection results.
• Excellent communications and interpersonal skills.
• Experience working in an AS 9100 and/or ISO 9000 Environment.
• Previous high-tech manufacturing/industry experience desired.
