About the position

The Quality Inspector role at Aerotek involves performing inspection tasks to ensure compliance with Approved Technical Data, FAR 145, and AS9100 Quality Standards. The inspector will focus on validating part configurations and inspecting individual parts, modules, and engines, specifically the Pratt & Whitney F135 engine, to ensure proper maintenance, repair, and testing of these engines.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspection tasks in compliance with Approved Technical Data, FAR 145, and AS9100 Quality Standards.
• Inspect individual parts and validate part configurations.
• Inspect modules and engines, specifically the Pratt & Whitney F135 engine.
• Ensure engines are properly maintained, repaired, and tested.

Requirements

• Experience in quality inspection within the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of FAR 145 and AS9100 Quality Standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical data and specifications.

Nice-to-haves

• Certification in quality inspection or related field.
• Experience with Pratt & Whitney engines.
