About the position
We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Specialist to join our manufacturing team and play a critical role in ensuring all products meet stringent specifications. This long-term contract role involves testing, inspecting, and verifying that raw materials, in-process, and finished goods adhere to required quality standards. The QA Specialist will collaborate closely with various plant personnel and other departments to monitor and improve production quality.
Responsibilities
- Conduct physical testing and inspect incoming samples and raw materials to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Communicate quality-related issues effectively to different departments and facilitate resolutions.
- Maintain accurate records and generate reports related to quality assurance activities using SAP and other relevant computer systems.
- Prepare and test raw materials, in-process, and finished goods samples to confirm they meet all specifications.
Requirements
- Preferred: College education in Chemistry or a related scientific field.
- Proficiency in using laboratory equipment and computers for record-keeping and data management.
