About the position

The Quality Lab Technician at Malarkey Roofing Products is responsible for performing tests on incoming raw materials and conducting in-process testing for manufacturing operations. This role includes conducting quality audits and assisting in plant trials, ensuring that products meet quality standards. The technician will also perform data entry across various platforms and must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on incoming raw materials and in-process testing for manufacturing operations.
• Conduct quality audits to assist in plant trials.
• Perform chemical and physical property tests under supervision.
• Enter data on multiple platforms including SQC, Access, and Excel.

Requirements

• AS/BS Degree in a scientific or technical field; or HS Diploma/GED with two years of previous manufacturing experience.
• Previous experience as a Quality Technician or Process Technician is strongly preferred.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
