Quality Lead

About the position

The Quality Lead position at Pusterla US, Inc. is a full-time role focused on ensuring the quality of luxury packaging products. As the first-line champions of the quality management discipline, Quality Leads supervise production lines, document the production lifecycle, and ensure proper cataloguing of samples. This role is essential in maintaining the high standards expected by internationally recognized brands such as L'Oréal and Estée Lauder.

Responsibilities

• Understand company Quality Management System and adhere to policies and procedures.
• Perform Quality approval for Manufacturing Line startups at the start of shift.
• Complete routine in-process and final product inspection throughout the shift to ensure desired quality and documentation requirements are being met.
• Inspect incoming materials by confirming specifications, conducting visual/measurements tests, using previous production run and/or customer signoff samples for verification and approve/reject materials.
• Perform Manufacturing line purgation for job change overs.
• Ensure proper materials and documentation are present at the start of new job.
• Collect, prepare and package First Article/Pre-Shipment Approval samples as required by customer.
• Complete all associated paperwork related to duties & responsibilities accurately and legibly.
• Escalate any quality issues to Line personnel and/or production supervision.
• Perform any other tasks that may be assigned by Quality Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent minimal.
• 2 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferable.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Able to stand for the duration of the shift.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiar with GMP a plus.
• Bilingual in English/Spanish preferable.
