About the position

The Quality Lead/Supervisor position at Aerotek involves overseeing production activities within the Ford Ohio Assembly Plant. The role includes direct supervision of hourly associates, ensuring quality control, and maintaining a safe production environment. The position is initially hourly at $28 per hour for six months, transitioning to a $60,000 annual salary upon direct hire.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises hourly associates and directs resources as required.
• Oversees the planning, scheduling, setup, and running of production activities.
• Interviews and hires hourly workers.
• Oversees the work of production associates and coordinates with leaders of production support staff.
• Communicates expectations and provides direction and training.
• Monitors work performance and provides feedback.
• Oversees process control and quality process control.
• Records production by completing daily shift production reports.
• Maintains working relationship with union.
• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy production process environment by adhering to organization standards and policies, and to legal regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in quality management.
• Proven ability as a quality lead or technician.
• Strong supervisory skills.
