About the position

The Quality Manager - Delivery Excellence at SOS International LLC is responsible for developing and implementing a company-wide program management approach based on PMI project management standards and CMMI practices. This role involves creating documentation templates, maintaining a SharePoint repository, delivering training on program and quality management best practices, and conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and CMMI standards. The position requires collaboration with colleagues to enhance program management processes and support continuous improvement activities.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement company-wide program management approach based on PMI project management standards and CMMI practices.
  • Create baseline documentation templates to support program reporting requirements.
  • Create and maintain a Microsoft SharePoint-based repository for program management information and resources.
  • Develop and deliver training on program management and quality management best practices.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop, implement, and maintain program management plans, policies, processes, procedures, and systems.
  • Support development of program-specific key performance indicators.
  • Conduct internal audits of programs/projects for compliance with ISO 9001, CMMI-DEV, and CMMI-SVC requirements.
  • Support root cause analysis and implementation of preventive/corrective actions.
  • Support risk management and continuous improvement activities.
  • Participate in preparation for external ISO 9001 audits.
  • Serve as CMMI internal appraisal team member.

Requirements

  • BS/BA degree and six+ years of program management experience supporting complex government and/or commercial programs.
  • Active PMP certification.
  • Two+ years of experience developing and delivering training.
  • Document management experience (e.g., version control, change management, and tailoring).
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft 365 skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and external auditors.
  • Ability to manage a variety of viewpoints to build consensus and create positive outcomes.
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work with minimal management direction.
  • Ability to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; U.S. citizenship required.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience as a member of a corporate Program Management Office and/or Delivery Excellence team.
  • CMMI V2.0, ISO 9001, and ITIL experience; certifications are a plus.
  • Ability to create detailed process workflows using Microsoft Visio.
  • Experience with Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or Robotic Process Automation.
