About the position

The Quality Manager for the Repair Station at Parker Hannifin Corporation is responsible for leading and managing the quality function in compliance with FAA, EASA, and CAAC regulations. This role ensures that quality program policies and standards are met, while interfacing with various plant functions and managing the quality department. The position requires a strong focus on quality assurance activities, supplier quality audits, and the implementation of quality management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management of the quality function within the Repair Station.
  • Ensure compliance with FAA, EASA, and CAAC regulations and company policies.
  • Define quality requirements at all functional levels for appropriate planning and verification.
  • Coordinate Total Quality Management (TQM) efforts across business units.
  • Develop and implement new methods of quality management and audit existing systems.
  • Provide quality-oriented leadership to achieve facility quality objectives.
  • Interface with internal and external customers regarding quality systems and products.
  • Manage supplier quality audits and corrective action plans.
  • Utilize automated systems to plan, implement, and track quality systems and processes.
  • Maintain high levels of customer service, throughput, quality, and productivity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
  • Four plus years of applicable experience in a world-class manufacturing environment.
  • Effective written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Total Quality concepts and ISO procedures.
  • Experience with statistical improvement methods and corrective action development.
  • Managerial experience with the ability to lead and motivate employees.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in the aerospace industry.
  • Familiarity with FAA and Part 145 regulations.
