About the position

The Quality Manager position at Syncreon by DP World is responsible for driving the execution of quality processes and monitoring their effectiveness through key performance indicators (KPIs). This role requires strong leadership skills and a diverse background in change management, operational analysis, and business process improvement. The Quality Manager will oversee quality functions across all shifts, manage relationships with suppliers, and ensure compliance with ISO standards while fostering a Lean culture within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and analyze data from customers and internal sources for problem solving and reporting.
  • Supervise Quality functions and staff across all shifts, providing consistent direction on quality plans.
  • Administer projects and documentation related to assigned processes, including operator instructions and PFMEAs.
  • Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems.
  • Use established problem-solving techniques to reduce process variation.
  • Manage quality processes and reports, including 3rd party sorts and suspect material.
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers to address suspect material issues.
  • Champion Lean engineering goals and assist in developing a Lean culture within the organization.
  • Develop, implement, and monitor the Quality System, reporting on its effectiveness to management.
  • Generate, interpret, analyze, and communicate results using management tools and reports.
  • Maintain ISO documentation and controls, ensuring compliance with ISO certification requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Progressive experience in quality management, preferably in the automotive or logistics industry.
  • Additional education, training, or work experience in a relevant specialization may be required.
  • Knowledge of principles and procedures used in logistics operations.
