About The Position

The Quality Performance Analyst maintains expert knowledge of clinical performance data in assigned area. Provides support of quality data for the system and medical staff. Serves as a liaison between quality performance data and operations, clinical and physician leadership. Provides data in an understandable and professional format. Audits and reviews the health records and understands clinical processes in assigned areas of focus. Works as a liaison between databases, data analyst and system wide customers to provide validated data for quality and performance improvement committees, Leap Frog, mortality, complications, score cards/dashboards, and ad hoc requests. Skills in Excel, Power Point and data visualization technology, such as Tableau, are essential.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse Required
  • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, Healthcare, or Statistics Required
  • 10 Years Clinical - Acute Care Experience Required
  • 5 Years Analysis - Data Experience Required

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality Preferred
  • Master's Degree in Health Administration Preferred
