The Quality Performance Improvement Analyst I plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of care provided by Klamath Basin Behavioral Health (KBBH). This position is integral to the Quality Performance Improvement (QPI) team, assisting the QPI Manager in the collection, collation, and analysis of data related to the organization's Quality Performance Improvement Portfolio. The analyst will engage in root cause analysis, process automation, and support clinicians in streamlining workflows to improve operational efficiency. This role is not only about data analysis but also involves presenting and disseminating information effectively to various stakeholders within the organization. In addition to data management, the QPI Analyst I will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify problems and develop solutions, particularly in areas related to cost containment and the implementation of new services and performance measures. The analyst will be responsible for researching, developing, and implementing improved systems and methodologies that enhance operational processes. This includes providing on-site training and follow-up for staff, facilitating performance improvement project teams, and maintaining efficient work processes to ensure timely review results are delivered to the organization. The role also requires the analyst to act as a content expert for performance improvement tools, assisting, coaching, and teaching processes while incorporating various performance improvement philosophies. The QPI Analyst I will extract, interpret, and analyze data to evaluate root causes and support data-driven decision-making. Furthermore, the position involves developing collaborative relationships with the Quality Team to assess and revise key policies and processes aimed at improving the quality of care provided by KBBH. Continued education and training on Electronic Health Record (EHR) best practices and usability will also be part of the responsibilities, along with providing clinical application support as needed.
