About the position
The Quality Practitioner and Technical Document Specialist at Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is responsible for ensuring compliance with SQF standards by maintaining an organized library of documentation related to food safety and quality. This role involves cross-functional collaboration to ensure that technical documentation and operational SOPs are effective and compliant with regulatory guidance, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of the quality program at the co-packing facility.
Responsibilities
- Ensure facilities comply with SQF standards.
- Participate in annual audit preparation and 3rd party audits.
- Manage corrective action requirements from SQF internal and 3rd party audits.
- Review all applicable documents to maintain compliance with SQF guidelines.
- Initiate an annual review for senior management, as well as updates provided to plant.
Requirements
- Strong technical writing background.
- Experience composing technical information into clear, concise content for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Familiarity with brewery concepts, practices, and procedures.

- Experience in food safety and quality management systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance in the brewing industry.
