About the position
The Quality Process Tech position involves performing inspection duties to ensure product quality and compliance with specifications. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to identify defects in molded components, contributing to the overall quality assurance process within the production environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform a variety of inspection duties at required intervals using gauges and a microscope to inspect parts for dimensions, color, and appearance.
- Perform periodic scanning of molded components to find various defects both on the production floor and off.
- Complete documentation as required.
- Identify and isolate nonconforming production.
- Support housekeeping efforts to ensure work areas are clean and well maintained.
- Assemble boxes and distribute them.
- Move boxes using a handtruck.
Requirements
- Attention to detail and strong observational skills.
- Ability to use inspection tools such as gauges and microscopes.
- Basic documentation skills.
