About the position

The Opioid Abatement Program, funded by the Oklahoma Opioid Abatement Grant, is integrated with Norman Regional's Centers of Excellence. This role focuses on leading quality initiatives and promoting best practices in pain management and opioid abatement. The position involves administering a performance and process improvement program, managing accreditation efforts, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to enhance healthcare delivery and financial wellbeing within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a leader in quality and promotes its integration into the program.
  • Administers a robust performance and process improvement program.
  • Leads the multidisciplinary team(s) to obtain and maintain accreditation(s) and/or certification(s).
  • Develops, manages, and utilizes data and quality metrics.
  • Takes responsibility for continued professional growth and development.
  • Collaborates in marketing and promoting the program through community outreach and education.
  • Maintains strong professional working relationships with physicians and leadership.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in nursing or healthcare related field required; Master's preferred.
  • Licensed or registered in nursing or allied health profession.
  • 3-5 years of experience in a related healthcare field.
  • Demonstrates understanding of principles of project management, quality, performance improvement, and evidence-based practice.
