About the position

As a Quality Program Coordinator at Alverno Laboratories, you will play a crucial role in the Central Laboratory's Quality Assurance team. This position is based in Hammond, Indiana, and operates on a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday during the day shift. Your primary responsibility will be to assist in the development and implementation of long-term quality strategies that align with the organization's commitment to advancing health, wellness, and continuity of care in the communities served. Alverno Laboratories is recognized as one of the largest integrated laboratory networks in the Midwest, serving 26 hospitals and numerous physician offices, which underscores the importance of maintaining high-quality standards in laboratory services. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying quality gaps within the laboratory processes and implementing effective reporting mechanisms to track quality improvements. You will enhance existing systems and define high-value quality projects that need prioritization. Additionally, you will be responsible for analyzing quality data and reporting your findings to upper management, ensuring that the organization remains committed to continuous improvement in its quality assurance practices. Your contributions will directly impact the laboratory's ability to provide reliable and accurate services to its healthcare partners and the communities they serve.

Responsibilities
