About the position

The Quality Specialist for Maintenance at V2X is responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data related to maintenance operations and asset performance. This role aims to improve maintenance processes, enhance equipment reliability, and reduce downtime through data-driven decision-making. The specialist will collaborate closely with the W-TRS Program Management Office and Field Maintenance teams to ensure accurate data capture and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical support to W-TRS Maintenance Management.
• Monitor work order activities within the Maximo Maintenance System, highlighting trends and areas of concern.
• Develop reports, data analysis, and work order activity summaries for field access.
• Familiarize with field maintenance and training operation processes, ensuring data collection aligns with field operations.
• Provide telephonic assistance to field personnel regarding the Maximo Maintenance System and ensure data quality compliance.
• Conduct periodic internal data quality assessments and report findings to management.
• Track and monitor device performance and utilization, providing insights for continuous improvement.
• Prepare detailed reports outlining findings and recommendations for corrective actions.
• Work with maintenance teams to implement changes that enhance service quality and reliability.
• Conduct thorough inspections and verifications of maintenance work against predefined standards.
• Incorporate logistics and sustainment activities into data analysis.

Requirements

• Ability to utilize data tools for rapid ingestion and analysis of large data sets.
• High-level proficiency in MS Office Tools Suite: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio.
• Ability to summarize and present data results to non-maintenance personnel.
• Familiarity with maintenance processes in a field services environment.
• Ability to instruct and provide corrective actions for user errors in the Maximo system.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience working within the Maximo Maintenance Management Information System.
• Familiarity with operations, maintenance, and logistics activities in the Army Warfighter training environment.
• Experience working with relational databases and extracting data using SQL queries.
