About the position

The Quality Specialist role at CVS Health focuses on auditing the work of Eligibility and COBRA Specialists to ensure accurate transaction entries into the processing system. This position is essential for maintaining compliance with industry standards and government regulations, as well as for providing feedback to improve team performance. The role requires collaboration with various departments to resolve issues and enhance service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Review and validate transactions entered by Eligibility and COBRA Specialists into the processing system.
  • Evaluate transaction accuracy using internal procedures, plan documents, industry standards, and government compliance documentation.
  • Communicate errors and results to the Eligibility Specialist and Supervisor.
  • Create monthly error analysis reports to share with Eligibility management for performance evaluation.
  • Document compliance issues related to industry standards and state and federal guidelines.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation to provide timely feedback on audit results and identify trends.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or higher.
  • Ability to produce accurate and complete audit results.
  • Understanding of internal procedures and ability to conduct research for clarification of information.
  • Strong attention to detail and effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to interpret Plan Document language and multi-task effectively.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior auditing experience.
  • Knowledge of the DG, WEX, and other Meritain processing systems.
  • Basic knowledge of Excel.
  • Strong investigative skills.
  • Ability to set appropriate priorities.
