About the position
As a Quality Supervisor at Actalent, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of sanitation and product quality within the operations. This role involves leading a team of sanitation and quality staff to ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies, while also overseeing and improving sanitation and quality processes.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of sanitation and quality staff.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, food safety standards, and company policies.
- Oversee and improve sanitation and quality processes.
- Act as a direct liaison between general production and management regarding quality issues.
- Prioritize tasks and work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
Requirements
- Quality assurance experience
- Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice)
- Supervisory experience
- Quality control expertise
- Associates Degree in Supervisory Management, Microbiology or related field, or equivalent experience preferred
- At least three years of progressively responsible lead or supervisory experience
- Specific knowledge of sanitation chemicals, processes, and safe handling practices
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
