Arconic is currently in search of a Quality Support Advocate to join our team in Davenport, IA. At Arconic, our goal is to be the best company in the world! We have an immediate need for a Quality Support Advocate at our facility in Davenport, Iowa. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing delegated source inspection and connecting Customer quality requirements to the shop floor across all shifts. The candidate will be required to ensure compliance to metal integrity standards (i.e. conductivity, thermal processing, quench, etc.). The role requires disposition (PASS / SCRAP) in process material for surface quality, metal integrity, traceability, and other key quality requirements. The role also serves as Quality help chain for Teams. The Quality Support Advocate will interpret multiple Customer quality requirements across all product categories and evaluate and disposition processing records for compliance to Metallurgical standards. This position is crucial in driving Customer Satisfaction Score [NPS] through effective communication and problem solving of Customer issues. The candidate must possess in-depth knowledge of industry surface standards and demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as strong organizational skills. A working knowledge of Arconic Business System (Lean Manufacturing) principles and Human Performance tools is essential, along with a working knowledge of Shop Floor, Unisys, and other operating systems related to material production. Expert knowledge of surface quality requirements and a working knowledge of aluminum manufacturing processes are also required.
