About the position
The Quality Technician position at Woodward involves applying basic quality concepts to ensure the integrity of products before shipment. Responsibilities
- Applies basic knowledge of quality concepts and creates simple charts to track and drive quality improvements.
- Reviews and approves finished product and associated data prior to shipment to the customer.
- Participates in audit activities in a supporting role, including process audits and product audits.
- Retrieves traceability and configuration data in support of a product or customer audit/investigation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1 year of related work experience required.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T.
- Ability to read, interpret, and use information from drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Effective writing and communication skills.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with quality assurance processes in manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with ITAR and EAR regulations.
