About the position
The Quality Technician position at Woodward, Inc. is a full-time role focused on ensuring product quality through various quality assurance processes. The technician will apply basic quality concepts, review finished products, and participate in audit activities to maintain high standards of quality control. This position is essential for preventing faulty products from leaving the facility and involves collaboration with team members to drive quality improvements.
Responsibilities
- Applies basic knowledge of quality concepts and creates simple charts to track and help drive quality improvements.
- Reviews and approves finished product and associated data prior to shipment to the customer.
- Participates in audit activities in a supporting role, including process audits and product audits.
- Retrieves traceability and configuration data in support of a product or customer audit/investigation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of related work experience required.
- Basic knowledge of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
- Ability to read, interpret, and use information presented in drawings, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Computer skills to input, access, modify, or output information.
