About the position

The Quality Technician - First Article Inspection role at Randstad US involves working with a large aerospace manufacturer to ensure high precision in power supplies and power controls. This position is focused on performing inspections, particularly First Article Inspections (FAI), and requires familiarity with industry standards such as AS9100 and ISO 9001. The role is a permanent opportunity with a first shift schedule from 6:30 AM to 3:30 PM, offering a competitive hourly wage.

Responsibilities

• Minimum three years' inspection experience.
• Prepare Certificates of Analysis.
• Regularly calibrate tools and equipment.
• Experience with First Article Inspection (FAI) report in accordance with AS9102.
• IPC-610 certified a plus.
• Experience with measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, height gauge and other measuring tools to measure and verify fabricated parts compliant to engineering drawing.
• Must be able to work independently, methodically and meet deadlines.
• Must be able to remain focused while performing high volume of inspections.
• Experience performing both electrical and mechanical inspection.
• Able to read and understand drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software as needed to complete reports.
• Ability to lift and move up to 25lbs.

Requirements

• Must have experience with calibration and First Article Inspection.
• Familiar with AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards.
• Must be a US Citizenship or Permanent Residency as requirements of ITAR.

Nice-to-haves

• IPC-610 certification is a plus.
