About the position
The Quality Technician at ATL Technology is responsible for managing calibration processes, ensuring equipment is properly tracked and maintained, and performing inspections to uphold quality standards. This role involves collaboration with various departments and adherence to quality management systems and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for entering new equipment using the Calibration List.
- Inspect equipment for condition when coming in from calibration.
- Record calibration data, dates, certificates, and findings using the Calibration List.
- Keep accurate records of equipment.
- Ensure equipment is tracked in and out for calibration and departments.
- Understand basic equipment functions.
- Work in a team environment with other departments.
- Track budget of calibration.
- Ensure good documentation practices.
- Perform all incoming/in-process and final inspection duties as assigned.
- Assist with quality document review and management as needed.
- Stay compliant with all ATL Technology's QMS and regulatory requirements.
- Assist Quality Engineers/Quality Managers as needed or assigned.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 6 months of Quality Control/Quality Assurance experience.
- Ability to speak, read, and write in English at a professional level.
- Legible handwriting in the English language.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in Material Requirement Planning software is a plus.
- Understanding of inspection process tools and calibration equipment.
