About the position
The Quality Technician role at Aerotek involves developing and manufacturing a diverse product line of color matched color concentrates, masterbatches, and pigment dispersions. The technician will conduct lab testing, document findings, and ensure product quality in a relaxed and stable work environment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct lab testing of manufactured product batches, both in process and finished.
- Review test findings with the Quality Control Manager.
- Make comparative displays using a lab scale 2-roll mill, extruder, and injection molder.
- Conduct both spectrophotometric and visual color inspections.
- Make adjustments to batches as necessary.
- Document findings and processes into computers.
- Weigh and mix ingredients, test materials, etc.
Requirements
- 3-5 years of Quality Control experience.
- Experience in plastic manufacturing or food manufacturing.
