About the position

The Quality Training Specialist - eLearning Instructional Designer at Agilent Technologies is responsible for designing, developing, and assessing e-learning programs that enhance the quality of training within the organization. This role involves collaborating with subject matter experts to create engaging instructional materials and utilizing mixed reality technologies to provide immersive learning experiences. The specialist will also manage Learning Management Systems (LMS) and ensure the effectiveness of training programs through continuous evaluation and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assess the effectiveness of e-learning programs and make necessary adjustments.
• Work on quality department assignments with broadly defined objectives.
• Design and implement training programs using mixed reality (MR) technologies.
• Build engaging and interactive e-learning courses using various instructional design models (e.g., ADDIE, SAM).
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
• Develop instructional materials, including text, graphics, audio, and video.
• Lead and maintain Learning Management Systems (LMS).
• Simplify complex processes, making them easier to understand.
• Provide an immersive learning experience for training on complex machinery or environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Educational Technology, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 1+ years relevant experience for entry into this level.
• 2+ years of experience in instructional design and mixed reality programming preferred.
• Familiarity with e-learning authoring tools.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lead multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Experience in developing mixed reality (MR) or virtual reality (VR) training programs, including 2 and 3D programming.
