The QuickBase Applications Developer at Community Behavioral Health (CBH) plays a crucial role in the successful implementation of QuickBase software technology. This position is focused on data capture, workflow management, and the development of applications that serve both internal CBH needs and those of external partners. The developer will leverage extensive experience in creating and maintaining medium to complex QuickBase applications, ensuring that they align with CBH's business, compliance, clinical, and operational requirements. Collaboration and communication across various departments are essential to fully understand the needs and ensure the successful deployment of these applications. In addition to QuickBase, the developer is expected to have experience in application development using SQL Server databases, as this knowledge will enhance the overall functionality and integration of the applications developed. The role involves not only the technical aspects of development but also leading the implementation process, which includes testing and refining applications to meet strategic initiatives of CBH. The developer will be responsible for creating technical documentation and maintaining existing applications to ensure they continue to meet evolving business needs. Responsibilities

  • Develop new custom QuickBase applications to meet various business needs, focusing on data capture applications.
  • Maintain existing QuickBase applications to expand or refine functionality as needed.
  • Work with the Data Capture team to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Create and present workflow diagrams and proof of concepts to ensure alignment with application requirements.
  • Develop a clear understanding of data needs and uses within CBH and the larger context of data governance.
  • Create technical documentation as requested.
  • Lead the technical implementation of applications and interface with various departments.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • At least five years of professional experience in designing, developing, and testing software applications.
  • 3-5 years of expertise in QuickBase software technology development or similar technologies.
  • Production support experience is required.
  • Experience with SQL and SSIS is a plus.
  • Healthcare experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in web-based technologies.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in application development using other technologies for SQL Server Databases.
  • Familiarity with healthcare data management and compliance standards.
