About the position

The QuickBase Database Developer and Administrator position at CVS Health is a pivotal role responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data tools that support key strategies for Enterprise Training. This role is essential in driving organizational results with exceptional outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of QuickBase programming experience, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills. The position requires close consultation with Learning and Development (L&D) leaders and colleagues to define, plan, and create effective designs for QuickBase applications. In this role, the developer will manage relationships and maintain open communication with L&D leaders and colleagues to ensure continual alignment of application development throughout the project life-cycle. The responsibilities include creating and customizing applications within QuickBase to meet specific business needs and requirements, designing and implementing database structures and relationships for optimal performance and scalability, and developing workflows and automation within QuickBase to streamline processes and improve efficiency. Additionally, the developer will design user-friendly interfaces and dashboards that enhance user experience and facilitate data visualization. Monitoring and optimizing application performance, troubleshooting issues, and implementing improvements as needed are also key responsibilities. The role involves creating documentation and user guides to support application users and stakeholders, conducting testing and QA processes to ensure applications meet functional and performance requirements, and effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain data tools supporting key strategies for Enterprise Training.
  • Consult with L&D leaders and colleagues to define, plan, and create effective designs for QuickBase applications.
  • Manage relationships and maintain open communication with L&D leaders and colleagues throughout the project life-cycle.
  • Create and customize applications within QuickBase to meet specific business needs and requirements.
  • Design and implement database structures and relationships for optimal performance and scalability.
  • Develop workflows and automation within QuickBase to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
  • Design user-friendly interfaces and dashboards that enhance user experience and facilitate data visualization.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Proficiency in developing and customizing QuickBase applications, including creating tables, relationships, forms, reports, workflows, and pipelines.
  • Knowledge of user interface design principles to create intuitive and effective interfaces and dashboards within QuickBase applications.
  • Skilled in identifying and resolving technical issues, debugging applications, and optimizing performance.
