About the position

The Neo4j/TigerGraph Developer role is focused on leading the design, development, and maintenance of software web applications within Big Data and Data Analytics Platforms. The position requires extensive hands-on experience with Graph databases, specifically Neo4j and TigerGraph, as well as proficiency in Python. The developer will work in a fast-paced SAFe Agile environment, collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful delivery of features and functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and maintenance of software web applications in Big Data and Data Analytics Platforms using Hadoop tools.
• Implement CI/CD processes using the Atlassian ecosystem.
• Collaborate with Solution Architects and technology groups to design and maintain software solutions.
• Capture system-level requirements by brainstorming with Senior Architects, Data Architects, Business, and Product Managers.
• Drive and maintain code quality through best practices, unit testing, and code quality automation.
• Assess application performance and make improvements through better design and coding practices.
• Manage and lead small development teams in an Agile environment.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in Graph databases (Neo4j/TigerGraph) and Python.
• Experience in leading the design and implementation of tools and frameworks for reusability and standards.
• Strong understanding of OOP fundamentals in either Java or Python.
• Ability to lead a team and deliver features in a fast-paced SAFe Agile environment.
• Experience in designing and programming small modules and large components.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
