About The Position

The Quick Lube Service Technician position at Myers Auto Group involves performing essential vehicle maintenance and repairs, diagnosing mechanical issues, and ensuring high-quality customer service. This full-time role requires flexibility in scheduling, including the possibility of working Saturdays and overtime.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Have a valid Driver's License.
• High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Open to technicians with basic entry-level experience.
• Team-oriented and flexible.
• Focused on maintaining a high level of customer service.
• Able to explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner.
• Acceptable verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to follow directions, checklists, and established procedures carefully.
• Willing to adhere to all Warranty, federal and state agency, and company compliance processes regarding repair and safety.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Identify mechanical problems in vehicles.
• Test parts and systems for functionality.
• Perform basic and advanced maintenance on vehicles.
• Access all areas of vehicles to diagnose problems accurately.
• Disassemble and reassemble vehicle parts as needed.
• Utilize power tools such as pneumatic wrenches, lathes, and jacks.
• Use common hand tools including sockets, ratchets, wrenches, and pliers.
• Complete additional duties as required.
