About the position
The Quotations Specialist at Randstad Engineering is responsible for preparing and analyzing requests for quotes (RFQs) to suppliers in the electronics and mechanical contract manufacturing sectors. This role requires a strong understanding of cost data analysis, supplier commodities, and collaboration with various teams to ensure competitive pricing and project requirements are met.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and evaluate cost data to ensure accuracy, price competitiveness, and adequate supply levels.
- Develop expertise in various supplier commodities, including electronics, sheet metal, packaging, and PCBs.
- Review pricing structures and prepare finalized quotes, factoring in labor, materials, testing, overhead, and logistics.
- Collaborate on complex tasks with suppliers, Supplier Quality Engineers (SQE), supply chain teams, and program managers to meet project requirements.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the Electronics or Mechanical Contract Manufacturing industry.
- Bachelor of Science degree in a relevant field.
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of PCB manufacturing.
