Responsibilities

  • Work with a collaborative team of FPGA engineers designing functionality for next-generation electronic products.
  • Own specific functional blocks within a project's FPGA architecture.
  • Run verification of your FPGA design through simulation. Complete verification on real hardware.
  • Collaborate with other engineering disciplines to test and debug designs within a product (such as software and adjacent hardware teams).
  • Apply FPGA knowledge and skills to represent your discipline among a collaborative design team. Help your team weigh tradeoffs and solve problems.
  • Continue to grow in your discipline and learn new skills as necessary to make your team successful.

Requirements

  • BS/MSEE
  • 1-2 years relevant experience
  • Experience with Verilog or VHDL
  • Ability to design, verify, and debug synchronous and asynchronous digital circuits
  • Understanding of circuit theory, transmission line theory, and high-speed signal fundamentals
  • Experience with CAD/CAE design tools
  • Good analytical problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and tackle challenging tasks
  • Ability to function effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to quickly learn new technologies

Nice-to-haves

  • 2-4 years relevant experience
  • MSEE
  • Experience designing, verifying and debugging analog and digital circuits
  • Printed circuit board design experience including experience with high speed signal integrity
  • Familiarity with FPGA architectures and synthesis tools.
  • Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, signal generators, etc.
