About the position

This position is part of Keysight's Communication and Solutions Group, focusing on the Wireless Data Ecosystem. The role involves developing RF, microwave, millimeter, and analog circuitry for various projects, including amplifiers, filters, and control circuits. The position requires collaboration with senior engineers and other functional areas to implement product measurement functions and troubleshoot issues, utilizing simulation and layout tools.

Responsibilities

  • Develop RF/microwave/millimeter and analog circuitry based on project needs.
  • Design amplifiers, filters, interface and control circuits, phase lock loops, and other components.
  • Implement product measurement functions and assist in instrument architecture decisions.
  • Assist with vendor and component selection.
  • Troubleshoot problems in collaboration with other functional areas.
  • Utilize simulation, schematic capture, and layout tools to accomplish design goals.

Requirements

  • BS, MS or PhD Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (EE).
  • Solid educational foundation in analog electronic circuit design and high frequency transmission line concepts.
  • Familiarity with circuit simulation tools and hands-on experience.
  • Ability to evaluate alternative circuit approaches and implement the most appropriate solutions.
  • Measurement experience with signal analyzers, signal generators, I/Q generation, time domain analysis, and vector network analysis.
  • Knowledge of communication systems and time/frequency domain analysis.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with RF/uW/mmW/analog circuit analysis and design.
  • Familiarity with CAD schematic tools and design evaluation.
  • Experience in block diagram design for up converter and downconverter products.
  • Knowledge of Baseband through RF/Microwave/Millimeter measurement systems.
  • Experience with DSP, digital, and programmable logic design.
