About the position

Join our dynamic IT team as a Senior Project/Program Manager, where you will lead major global projects with a value of up to $20M. This role is pivotal in delivering effective IT solutions that meet the needs of Precision Medicine and Human Biological Sample (PMB). You will be accountable for delivering solutions within approved budget and schedule commitments while meeting required quality and compliance standards. This role is a leader and advocate working collaboratively as part of a business-facing PMB IT team. As a Senior Project/Program Manager, you will lead all aspects of, drive and approve plans for projects/programs, manage and coordinate project/program budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, change management, and status. You will also manage relationships with senior business collaborators to ensure the effective capturing of business requirements and dedication to project/program objectives. You will be responsible for steering/collaborator meetings, communication of status, issues, risks. You will also ensure the project team adheres to all standards including ADF, quality, and compliance, as well as processes, defined technical capabilities, and standard methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead major global projects with a value of up to $20M.
  • Deliver effective IT solutions that meet the needs of Precision Medicine and Human Biological Sample (PMB).
  • Manage and coordinate project/program budgets, forecasts, tasks, schedules, risks, and change management.
  • Manage relationships with senior business collaborators to capture business requirements effectively.
  • Conduct steering/collaborator meetings and communicate project status, issues, and risks.
  • Ensure adherence to all standards including ADF, quality, and compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience
  • Experience in a global Biopharmaceutical company within the R D domain
  • Proven meaningful experience as a project/program manager or equivalent role
  • Proven skills and experience managing and controlling large project, program, and portfolio budgets
  • Experience managing and leading global project teams
  • Evidence of crafting innovative solutions that have a major impact within the business area and organization
  • Experience working in a global organization with geographically dispersed collaborators and project team members.
