Responsibilities

  • Apply functional specifications and use engineering tools to design hardware for product changes and new development.
  • Assist in preparing component specifications and document designs following established work processes.
  • Document calculations and compare results in controlled databases under minimal supervision.
  • Identify testing objectives at a component level in accordance with Halliburton's Health, Safety, and Environment procedures and evaluate test results.
  • Collaborate with mentors to understand the content required for invention disclosures and recognize ideas with IP potential.
  • Communicate clearly and efficiently as a team member to provide innovative solutions.
  • Take initiative to ensure work is done correctly, completely, and to the highest standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering or research and development.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with engineering tools and databases.
  • Familiarity with Halliburton's Health, Safety, and Environment procedures.
