About the position

The R D People Data Analytics Lead is a pivotal role within the Research & Development HR team, responsible for implementing key projects that support the 15,000 employees in the R D organization. This position involves leading a small team to deliver on people data and analytics priorities, translating workforce strategic needs into advanced analytics opportunities, and providing insights to enhance organizational effectiveness. The role emphasizes collaboration with business leaders and compliance with data privacy regulations while fostering a culture of growth, safety, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

  • Translating business needs into strong analytical solutions.
  • Providing a solution-oriented approach to the R D People Team, building capabilities and insight knowledge for the HR group to self-manage data insights.
  • Bringing external trends into the R D HR team to challenge and provide thought leadership around data analytics.
  • Supporting the R D leadership team on the deployment of key enterprise-wide changes, including One80 and the GSK Survey, and capability PDA work.
  • Ensuring that all solutions meet data privacy requirements and are compliant with internal and external regulations.
  • Proposing solutions that help predict and/or prevent specific outcomes and identifying opportunities to automate routine HR tasks.

Requirements

  • Multiple years' experience in a data analytical role.
  • Experience of working in Pharma.
  • Fluent spoken and written command of English language.
  • Experience with transitions and change management activities.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong analytical mindset and data-driven approach.
  • Ability to understand business insights, metrics, and market, and find areas for improvement in cooperation with the Centre of Excellence.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and organizational skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Workday, Visier, and/or other HR systems.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Applications.
