The R&D Scientist position at Virun involves developing innovative liquid dietary supplements from concept to commercialization. Responsibilities

• Develop innovative new products from concept to commercialization.
• Conduct benchtop testing for both new and existing products, evaluating solubility, viscosity, taste, color, and overall visual and sensory appeal.
• Manage shelf-life testing protocols: prepare and review samples, monitor progress, and report results.
• Maintain a clean, organized lab environment to ensure high standards of quality and efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with the procurement team to source lab supplies and raw materials and manage project deadlines with the shipping department and clients.
• Efficiently manage time, keeping track of multiple projects and meeting all expected deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Nutrition Science, or a related field.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in the food or supplement industry preferred.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements for dietary supplement manufacturing and nutrition labeling (21 CFR 111) is a plus.
