As an Outbound Sales Development Representative for Google Chrome at MarketStar, you will play a crucial role in helping small and medium businesses leverage Google's tools to enhance their operations. Your primary responsibility will be to simplify the onboarding process for customers, guiding them through the initial stages of using the Chrome browser and its management features. This involves not only explaining the product and answering queries but also providing technical onboarding support to ensure a smooth transition for business customers. In this position, you will be expected to self-prospect, research, and develop both semi-warm and cold leads, while also working on leads generated by marketing efforts. Your ability to reactivate cold leads will be essential in maintaining a robust sales pipeline. You will engage with potential customers through outbound phone calls and emails, providing exceptional customer interaction by leveraging your product knowledge and enthusiasm. Maintaining strong pipeline hygiene is critical; you will track your activities and update records in a CRM system to manage your lead funnel effectively. Clear communication with customers regarding next steps in the sales process will be vital to increasing the probability of closing opportunities.
