About the position

This position is part of the Value and Implementation (V&I) Outcomes Research organization, focusing on real-world evidence generation and outcomes research to enhance patient access to innovations and improve health outcomes. The role involves supporting Oncology teams, developing value evidence strategies, and leading outcomes research initiatives across various teams.

Responsibilities

  • Support V&I, Outcomes Research teams across the Oncology program.
  • Contribute to value evidence strategies for in-line and pipeline products.
  • Obtain senior management approval of value evidence generation plans.
  • Provide outcomes research leadership on cross-functional regional and global teams.
  • Assess drivers and barriers to reimbursement and market access in collaboration with internal teams.
  • Design non-interventional and data synthesis studies in collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
  • Author study protocols, develop measurement questionnaires, case report forms, data analysis plans, and final study reports.
  • Manage study-related contracting, budgets, and vendor/partner management.
  • Develop American Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) dossiers for US payers and Global Value Dossiers.
  • Support country affiliates in understanding local evidence generation needs and customizing outcomes research documents.
  • Communicate outcomes research and health economic modelling data to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identify patient-reported outcomes instruments for clinical trials and disseminate health-related quality of life results.
  • Maintain awareness of new scientific and methodological developments within the therapeutic area.
  • Build relationships with scientific experts worldwide.
  • Present outcomes research data at national and international congresses and publish articles in scientific journals.

Requirements

  • PhD in a relevant discipline (e.g., Outcomes Research, Health Economics, Epidemiology, Pharmaceutical Administration, Health Policy, Public Health).
  • 5+ years of relevant experience following an advanced or professional degree.
  • Oncology experience.
