About the position

The Diagnostic Imaging Technologist at Doctors Medical Center Modesto is responsible for providing radiological care to patients of all ages, utilizing ionizing radiation for the diagnosis and treatment of anatomical and physiological disorders. This role requires proficiency in conventional radiology and the operation of X-ray equipment, with the potential for additional competencies in CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology. The technologist will prepare exam rooms, manage equipment and supplies, and educate patients about procedures. This position reports to the Director of Imaging Services or their designee.

Responsibilities

• Provide radiological care to patients of all ages using ionizing radiation.
• Operate all X-ray equipment and PACS.
• Prepare exam room, equipment, supplies, and medications for patient procedures.
• Educate patients about procedures and care.
• Demonstrate competency in conventional radiography and at least one additional area (CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology).
• May be required to take call.

Requirements

• BLS certification required.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• CRT Fluoroscopy permit required.
• Proven competency in conventional radiography.

Nice-to-haves
