Responsibilities

  • Participates in patient care and non-patient care duties related to radiation therapy administration.
  • Fabrics treatment aids and immobilization devices.
  • Performs simulation and AcQsim procedures.
  • Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and performs quality checks.
  • Delivers radiation treatment to patients.
  • Instructs students in radiation therapy procedures.
  • Ensures patient and employee safety and effective communication.
  • Participates in educational activities and staff meetings.
  • Ensures certification and compliance with standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiation Therapy Program.
  • American Registry of Radiological Technologist (ARRT) certification within 6 months of hire.
  • American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
