About the position

The Radiation Therapist at Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute plays a crucial role in treating cancer and other diseases by administering radiation treatments according to established treatment plans. This position requires maintaining detailed records of therapy sessions while adhering to safety guidelines, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities

• Administer radiation treatments to patients according to treatment plans.
• Maintain detailed records of all therapy sessions.
• Adhere to safety responsibilities and guidelines during treatment.
• Collaborate with the Dosimetrist, Radiation Therapy Physicist, and Radiation Oncologist.
• Assess patient needs and conditions effectively.

Requirements

• Associate's degree preferred.
• One year of experience in radiation therapy highly preferred.
• Experience with hematology/oncology/radiation oncology patients is a plus.
• Valid Florida Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT/RTT) license required.
• ARRT Certified, BLS Certified, CPR Certified.
