About the position
The Radio Frequency Engineer II at Valkyrie Enterprises will provide essential technical support to NAVWAR, focusing on the development and application of advanced methods to address military system design challenges. This role involves planning and directing projects, coordinating with engineers and technical staff, and ensuring the successful completion of work, including system enhancements and technical consultations with customers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and apply advanced methods to investigate and solve military system design requirements and problems.
- Plan, conduct, and direct projects, coordinating efforts of engineers and technical staff.
- Review completion of work, including system enhancements, and recommend changes in technical application.
- Evaluate system capabilities and provide technical consultation to customers.
- Work closely with the Configuration Control Board to define and implement procedures for releasing new products throughout their life cycle.
- Provide change management and product configuration management guidance.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in applied science, computing, engineering, mathematics, physics, management information systems, or a related discipline.
- At least 3 years of related experience in Test and Evaluation (T&E) supporting programs and projects through various acquisition milestones and testing phases.
- At least 3 years of experience preparing, maintaining, updating, and reviewing test-related documentation for compliance with specifications and performance requirements.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with open architecture constructs like Sensor Open Systems Architecture (SOSA) and C5ISR/CMOSS.
- Experience with LPD and LPI waveforms and anti-jam communication capabilities.
